HMD Global, slightly more than a month after introducing its new smartphones, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and the new Nokia 6 at the MWC 2018 conference, has finally brought them in India. The trio is a part of the five-phone line up the company introduced at MWC 2018 conference. Out of the five, Nokia 1 has already been launched in the country for Rs. 5,499 and Nokia 8110 4G is yet to arrive.
Nokia 6 (2018) Specs and Features:
This mobile is last year’s Nokia 6 successor with updated specs and features. It includes 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). 2018 model comes with snapdragon 630 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU which is a great improvement over snapdragon 430 chipset. It comes with 5.5 inch 1080p display with gorilla glass 3. It comes with 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging capabilities.
Nokia 7 plus Specs and Features:
The Nokia 6 features Nokia spatial audio, recording audio with two microphones. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging capabilities. Being an Android One device, it runs a stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone features face unlock, Pro Camera mode and AI image suite (for selfie stickers). The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture.The smartphone is backed by a 3800mAh battery and supports fast charging.
Nokia 8 Sirocco Specs and features :
The premium offering from HMD Global comes in a glass body on the front, back and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The smartphone makes use of a stainless steel frame as its chassis. It sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560p) P-OLED display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. It includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). On the camera front, there is a dual setup – 12-megapixel lens with f/1.75 aperture, optical image stabilization + 12-megapixel lens with f/2.6 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and shoots 1080p videos. The smartphone is backed by a 3260mAh battery and supports fast charging.
Price and Availability:
As for the prices, the Nokia 6 has been priced at Rs 16,999 and it will available in markets from April 6. Meanwhile, pre-bookings for Nokia 7 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco will open from April 20, and sales will begin from April 30. The phone will be priced at Rs 25,999, and the Nokia 8 Sirocco will be available at Rs 49,999.
All three phones will be retailed online from Nokia Mobile Shop and offline from select Nokia outlets. The Nokia 7 Plus will also be sold from Amazon India, whereas the Nokia 6 will be available at Flipkart. All three phones will come with special cashback offers.
